So the Kids just celebrated their 2nd birthday. Not a whole lot happen with Curtis being gone we wanted to have something small for them but other than that we just thought it would be best that we just not do too much because I didn't want Curtis to feel like he missed out on too much. Grandma and grandpa cooper were able to come over and we had Aunt Karen and Uncle Scott there too. This of course was all done down at Vicki's and Darrel's house which I was grateful for because my apartment is very small.

Faith opened all of the presents that they got and it wasn't because she was just hogging them Alex just had no desire to open his presents. We would tell Faith if a present was for Alex or if it was her. If the present was for Alex she would take the present over to him so he could see what he got. She really tried to get him to open his presents. She would take them to him but he ignored them so she just opened them for him instead.

So last summer Lisa sent over a little tykes play house type thing with Curtis when he was down in that area. The kid's last year were not too into it but this year they are have a blast on in. I took some pictures of them playing. They love playing in it more than at park.
These first set of pictures are of Faith and then I will put some of Alex. There are so many I thought that I would put up a section for each. Faith had hurt her knee earlier that day and she wasn't too sure about the slide sometimes because it hurt when she Bent down.

Here are some pictures of Alex. He seems to just love trucks and cars. He just loves to look at the wheels when they turn. He is starting to not be afraid of the trampoline and can almost get up there on his own which will be scary if we are not paying attention.

So here are a few of the pictures that I took of the kids on Easter. We didn't do a whole lot on Easter partly because there was 5 and a half inches of snow outside. We did go down and see grandma and grandpa shawcroft. We were also able to see Aunt Darla and part of her gang. The kids loved getting dressed up in there clothes and Alex always loves having his picture taken

I got my grades back and found out that I passed my final two classes and within the week I should have it official and be a college grad. I received my associates degree in Information Technology Visual communication. I have a nice break now of three weeks and then I will start my Bachelor program. If everything goes as plan (nothing ever does) I should be able to have my BS in Information technology Multi Media Visual communication at the end of 2010.

For those who didn't know that I as unlicensed driver and for those who did know I am now officially a licensed driver. I passed my driving test today and now as I jokingly put it am a real adult now. It will be nice to be able to drive were i need when I need to.
I think that is all the news at our end. Keep your fingers crossed that Curtis can get on with a dedicated fleet for delivery flowers. It is only temp. but it will get him use to a dedicated route and then he can get on with them here in Colorado. it pays a lot better than no so that is always better. Ta Ta for now.

Curtis finally was able to come home after being gone 8 weeks. The kids were so thrilled to see him and it was great to be able to spend time with my honey and my best friend. I sometimes think that you don't really realize how much you love someone until they are not there all the time.

He took me out driving few times. Actually anytime we went anywhere I drove. It was nice to know that this week I can pass my driving test.

We are not sure when he will be able to make it back to us but it will be between 5 to 8 weeks. We are hoping to get him home sometime close to the kids's birthday but not too sure. We can't believe that the kids are going to be turning 2 soon.

So one of my good friends decided that I should make her 19 back packs for her girl scout troop. I am totally happy to do it and it allows me to get my name out there even more and more people wanting my product. The backpack that is shown is not the one I am making her that backpack's pic is not on my computer yet. When I am done and have those pictures I will send them. Well I guess that is all for now. When I find my camera I will do a blog on Easter and hopefully on me receiving my AA degree and my licence. Ta ta for now!

long time no update

Hi, I thought that I would send out an email so you guys would know what is going on. Curtis has been gone from us since the 14th of february but we hope that his dispatcher gets him home next week. There are days that the kids that aren't sure about him being gone but they are starting to talk to him on the phone and after he comes home he will be able to pick up his new air card and will be able to see them and them see him via the webcam. We can not believe that the kids will be turning 2 in a few short weeks. Boy has time flown by. I am going to attach some pictures so you guys can see how much they look so grown up. Faith is climbing down the stairs really well and Alex is too scared just because he is has fallen down them too many times. I look forward to the day that he will walk down them because he is getting wy to heavy. In a few short weeks I should have my associates finished and then i get to take a few weeks off. I am seriously looking forward to the break. After my three weeks I will start my Bachelors program and I will only take 1 class every five weeks. If everything stays on track I will be graduated in November 2010 which just leaves one more hurddle in the degree program. I am looking forward to finishing school because then Curtis can stop being over the road because I will be able to teach at the local college and online. My bags are taking off and I am hoping that I can get the money set aside to have a booth at the local summer fair this year. I just got an order for 13 back packs from a friend and so I am about to start a new pattern and see how that goes. She wants me to make some back packs for her girls scouts. Well I think that is all for now. We are all doing well and we look forward to being able to get health insurance so we can get the kids in for a check up and seeing how much they weight and height.

Curtis is off!

So Curtis got on a bus today to head down the road to Utah so he can start his new job. This is going to be an interesting adventure. I know it was hard for him to leave but we know that it is the sacrifice we are going to have to make so we can eventually be able to provide the life that we want to give our kids. We look at it as only 3 years is all he has to do this and who knows in the next year if my design firm and bags make a bunch of money he might be able to stop doing that sooner. All I have to do is finish school so I can teach at the local college on top of designing websites.

I will be done with my Associates degree on April 12Th and i will take a 3 weeks off because that is what the School requires that we take between schooling for Financial reasons. I already have my graduations date for my Bachelor program and that is November 2010. Then sometime after that I will start my Masters program and I will be almost done with school.

The picture below is the flowers my honey gave me today for Valentine's day. they are very beautiful. the picture does not do them Justice.

On another note Curtis's Great grandma and the kid's great great grandma Benatti died on February 5Th. She was 102 years old. She was only a few weeks shy of being 103. We will miss her dearly but she lived an awesome life and was not robed from it. I have added some pictures of the kids, Curtis and Darrel (Curtis's dad) with her when we saw her in November of 2007.

So Curtis starts his new job on the 16th but he leaves on the 14th to head to Utah. He will be in training for a few days and then on the road. I am so excited that he will be making good money and we look forward to being able to make our lives better.
We are working on trying to get Faith potty trained but we are taking baby steps. I thought I would put a few pictures up so you guys can see the kids. Plus I put a few of my newest creations on. I am as tired as i can be but I except that and I will look forward to any breaks I might get. I passed my IT class. I am so close that I can taste it. I can't wait and my hard work is finally paying off.

With a title like that you would think that my bags are going to some big retailer but they aren't. I was actually contacted by a lady in Colorado Springs that wants to buy a bunch of my bags to put in her baby boutique. I was just shocked. Lately I have been following my promptings and I decided (as i was listing something else) to list my bags on Craig's list. This lady saw my listing only minutes after I listed them and emailed me.

This is such a blessing in disguise. Curtis just got his great new job and I am getting lots of orders for my bags. Plus we found more deductions that we could put on our taxes and now we are getting a nice refund. On top of that we found out the insurance company is ready to settle for my slip and fall last February. We are feeling so blessed today and are pumped because it makes it even easier for us to get out of debit and closer to our dream of buying the perfect land and building the perfect house.

I have decided that we must of finally hit rock bottom and now we get to climb up. I can't wait till march when I can really start putting together our budget and conquering our debit snowball thanks to our favorite radio talk show host Dave Ramsey!
I always knew that patients is a virtue but It was not till today that did I realize because we have been patient and have done what we are suppose to do the lord has provided.
Until next time good night!

2 New adventures!

Curtis has a new job. He will still be truck driving but he will be over the road. He will be working for CR England and it is very exciting because our pay will double and we will have benefits. It will be hard on us but it is for a short period of time. We are just trying to get me through school and hopefully start teaching at a local college and balance out his income. This is exciting for us because we can get out of debit and start saving for our home and property that we want to build and find.

We are starting to try and potty train Faith. She brings me diapers when she knows she has gone to the bathroom. If she is unable to find a diaper she will point to me. Right now I just let her sit on it and Alex likes to sit on it too. The other day the bathroom door was left open and Curtis saw Alex sitting on it and reading a book. I know this is going to be a new adventure in the life of the cooper twins and me.
